Committed to winemaking rooted in local connections
Lowbrow Craft Winery embodies a winery deeply rooted in its local community. They
renovated an old stone warehouse in the Nobori district of Yoichi Town to create this
winemaking facility. Guided by the belief that “wine should be an artisanal creation by
winegrowers ,” they strive to produce wine that celebrates ties with the local community in
their winery nestled on the grounds of a rural lodge. While they cultivate Pinot Gris and
Zweigelt in their vineyard, 2022 marked their inaugural release of sparkling wine crafted
through in-bottle secondary fermentation featuring Niagara grapes sourced from Yoichi.
