A winery making forays overseas, guided by traditional Italian techniques and cutting-edge technology
This winery has inherited the skills and wisdom of Takeshi Fujimoto, who has been growing
wine grapes in the vineyard here for more than four decades. Guided by traditional Italian
techniques and cutting-edge technology, it delivers to the world uniquely Japanese wine made
by leveraging the globally unprecedented terroir of a cool land where grapevines survive
beneath the snow during winter, along with the unique characteristics of various grape
varieties. The winery also has an attached wine shop, where wines are sold in a walk-in wine
cellar, with temperature and humidity controlled using wood sourced from Hokkaido.
