Wine of happiness that brings joy to everyone, both those who pick up the bottle and those who savor each sip
In the heart of the city stands a winery run by Mr. and Mrs. Osa, who bring with them a
wealth of experience as sommeliers in restaurants and with major wine manufacturers.
The couple has always focused on finding a way to make wine more relatable and enjoyable
for many. This aspiration led them on a journey across Japan to find the ideal location for their
winemaking, culminating in their discovery of Otaru in Hokkaido. Repurposing a stone
warehouse that’s over a century old, they infuse their passion into every facet—from
cultivation and vinification to design and sales. Today, they cultivate eight different grape
varieties in Otaru and Yoichi, producing around 10,000 bottles each year. Guided by the
theme “wine of happiness,” they are dedicated to crafting wine that complements meals.
